On thing that we’ve found is that submitting business using electronic application (eApp) has provided advisors with a few advantages.
Along with the an assurance that an application submitted electronically is “in good order” (aka IGO), there are four additional benefits:
- Comp is paid faster
- Business cycle by 5-7 days
- A smoother client experience
- Reduction in follow-up meetings with the client
To access our eApp:
- Log in to web site at OneSource Online
- Click “Check out the New OneSource Online” in the blue box at the top of the page by the white exclamation point
- Click “Start/View an eApp or Illustration” in the middle of the page under My Business
- Click on “Start New Case” to start a new quote or eApp
You will also find a training environment where you can give the functionality a test drive. (The only thing that the test environment doesn’t do is allow you to submit the application.) We’ve found this to be the best way to learn the eApp.
