It’s been almost a year since we moved full scale into the virtual world. For some, it has been a simple transition. For others, it has been a major struggle. No matter where you fall in that spectrum, the virtual meeting that we have all come to love (or hate) is part of our business model.
And, they are not limited to meeting with colleagues and companies. Your clients are accustomed to them now. Zoom, GoToMeeeting, Teams, WebEx – the platforms are now part of everyday life.
Are you making the most out of the opportunity that virtual meetings offer you?
I’m not talking about one-on-one Zoom meetings with clients to review and update their plans. I am talking about sharing information with them to help educate and solidify their long term financial plan by offering them access to our virtual consumer seminar.
Every Tuesday evening at 7 pm (eastern), Michael Florio and I host a 20 minute virtual consumer seminar where we share some insight and information about long term care and the need to plan. It’s not a “fire and brimstone” presentation – it is merely an information exchange.
Here is a small sample of our virtual consumer seminar.
Here is how the meeting works. Clients can only attend by an invitation from an advisor. They (the client) will be required to log in and share the name of the advisor who invited them. This is vitally important as it will allow us to reach back to the advisor to share attendance information. This is a vital component to the cycle as it will allow the advisor to complete the communication and planning loop with a follow-up call or meeting. There is more to this opportunity that just a virtual meeting. We have a full blown virtual consumer seminar campaign that can be executed focusing on consumers. From e-mail to social media to snail mail, there tools available from OneAmerica to help promote the virtual consumer seminar. All of this is focused on one thing – getting consumers to register for the seminar.
All you need to do is share the registration link to the Great Retirement Income Gap virtual consumer seminar.
Remember, every Tuesday at 7 pm (eastern), the virtual consumer seminar is offered.
So, if you are uncomfortable in speaking about long term care with your clients, or are looking for another way to connect with your clients and offer some education on long term care, or want to supplement your efforts in discussing long term care with your clients – give the virtual consumer seminar a shot.
