Walk to End Alzheimer’s

Every year, more than 600 communities across the United States participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. This is event is the world’s largest fundraiser according to the Alzheimer’s Association. Proceeds from this event go to fund research, care programs, and more.

This year’s walk is planned as an in-person event and will take place at various times an locations. To find the location nearest to you – check out the interactive map.

While there is no fee to register for the walk, participants are encouraged to raise funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support and advance research toward methods of prevention, treatment and, ultimately, a cure.

If you do not care to walk, my team at OneAmerica will do it for you. All you need to do is complete a sponsorship and we will do the walk in your place. You can sponsor our efforts by going to the Donation Page.

Alzheimer’s and other cognitive impairments are no joke. In 2020, there were about 6 million people receiving care as a result of these maladies; in 2050, that number is expected to grow to 13 million.

Please, consider supporting the Alzheimer’s Association and the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

Just a couple reminders …
