Starting a conversation with a client about their end of life planning can be difficult. To help with this process, we at OneAmerica have worked with Dr. Monica Williams to host an online event aimed at reducing this topic’s stigma.
The event is open to the public and will be held on Thursday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. EST.
During Dr. Monica’s 45-minute presentation, she will stress the importance of planning to not only live well, but to end well. Her own prescription for success includes:
- The current environment and common advance care planning issues
- What holds us back from talking about this topic
- Six simple steps for ending well
- Her own family’s experiences
This is a great opportunity to either introduce clients to the concept of long-term care solutions or to emphasize previous discussions you may have had.
Attendees are not required to preregister for the event. We will not be sending them communications directly or collecting their personal information.
You can invite your clients by downloading and forwarding this invitation or the video above.
As another alternative, Michael Florio and I offer a virtual consumer seminar every Tuesday at 7pm. In 22 minutes, we discuss how a long term care event can impact your client’s retirement income plan.
