With Asset Care 2024, OneAmerica Financial stepped up to the plate and increased the value of the policy by improving the delivery of care. (Please note, Asset Care 2024 is not available in every state – please contact your Care Solutions team with questions.)
As you know, Asset Care 2024 offers a cash benefit option for the base portion of the policy. But, there is more to it than simply writing a check for care.
When someone elects to receive cash benefits for informal care, a new resource – the Caregiver Consultant – is available. This benefit allows for the caregiver to receive information, insights, and coaching virtually or in-person monthly.
This is benefit is included with every Asset Care 2024 policy, is an optional resource, and comes at no-cost to the insured.
This comes in addition to the Care Benefit Concierge and Care Coordinator benefits that are included as well.
As a reminder, the Care Benefit Concierge is a dedicated OneAmerica Financial employee from the home office in Indianapolis who will help the insured and their family navigate the claims cycle.
The Care Coordination benefit is an annual benefit provided by the policy to be used toward care coordination services. This is a valuable benefit that is underutilized and should be part of our discussion at policy delivery, annual review, as well as claim time.
