Care Benefits

Last week, I said this – “OneAmerica offers more than just money to pay for a long-term care claim.  OneAmerica offers resources.”

I mentioned this in passing last week, OneAmerica Financial’s Care Benefits (Claims) administers their own claims.  Said another way, when your client is working with OneAmerica Financial – they are working with a representative from the OneAmerica Financial home office in Indianapolis!

The OneAmerica Financial team IS NOT a third-party call center from the Philippines or India or some other part of the world like some other carriers.  

The process for starting a claim is pretty simple – contact the OneAmerica Financial’s Care Benefits (Claims).   Together, your client and the Care Benefit Concierge will be their dedicated resource for the duration of the claims cycle.

Contacting the Care Benefits team is pretty simply – via phone or online.  All that the power of attorney or claimant needs to do is contact the Care Benefits team to start the process.  And, remember this, they will receive a dedicated Care Benefits (Claims) Concierge to help them manage their claim for its duration!

And, remember, with Asset Care 2024, there are more benefits available – Care Benefits Consultant who is a dedicated resource to help “coach” the caregiver when informal care is desired.
